Often, executives are promoted for skill sets that don’t readily transfer to their executive positions. For example, they may be excellent at sales management but less skilled at corporate strategy. Harried executives need tailored, laser-focused coaching and development to help them reach strategic goals. To that end, I begin with establishing performance objectives that will create the greatest impact in the shortest time frame by prioritizing high-impact behaviors and coaching for success according to a new set of parameters.
